Move things forward with integrated Actions and Decisions
Isolate specific follow-ups by marking any message as an Action or Decision from right within your chat. All these important outcomes live neatly in your sidebar, accessible anytime so you'll never be out of the loop on key decisions or see an important idea pass by.
3. How is Stride different than Hipchat Cloud?
Hipchat Cloud was the first real enterprise messaging platform - it made the biggest transformation in how we work that our generation has ever seen. It created a completely new product category called "Group Chat."
Stride is a brand new product - a complete team communication solution built for the future to meet teams' ever-evolving needs in the workplace. It not only has group messaging, but also native voice and video conferencing, and built-in collaboration tools. Built from the ground up, Stride is reliable, robust, and intelligent - all to help you work better with your team.
4. What will happen to Hipchat Cloud?
Starting soon, we will begin to upgrade all Hipchat Cloud teams to Stride. Hipchat Cloud will continue to work as it does today until your team upgrades to Stride. After upgrading, Hipchat Cloud will remain in 'read-only' mode so that you can reference your API configuration in Hipchat Cloud and receive integration notifications for those apps that are not yet in Stride.
5. Do you plan to sunset Hipchat Cloud?
For now, Hipchat Cloud will continue to be supported, but we eventually encourage all Hipchat Cloud customers to upgrade to Stride.
6. Can I evaluate Stride?
Yes, we'll be releasing Stride to the world soon! If you're new to both HipChat and Stride, sign up for our early access waitlist now, and we'll let you know as soon as we're ready for you to get in the product and try it out. In the meantime, check out our How It Works page for an in-depth look at Stride.

7. I’m an existing Hipchat cloud user. Do I need to sign up for the waitlist?
No, you do not. We’ve already saved your place in line and we'll send your admin an email when we're ready for you.
8. How do I get my team started on Stride?
If you already have a Hipchat Cloud account, the admin of your team will receive an email invitation with details on upgrading your team over to Stride. If you're an admin, check out our Upgrade FAQs for more info.
If you're new to Stride, you will be able to create an account, invite your teammates, and start taking advantage of everything Stride has to offer soon. For now, sign up for our early access waitlist so you get first dibs.
9. I currently use Hipchat Cloud. Why can't I get my team on Stride today?
We're upgrading Hipchat Cloud customers to Stride soon. Please bear with us, we want to ensure that you have the best possible experience with Stride.
